Mealtime can be challenging. It’s hard to think of different things to make for our family, let alone whip something up that is healthy and nourishing. All the while, we still have to accommodate food sensitivities and allergies. And then we have to make time to prepare it all. After all of the effort and preparation, our kids seem to still complain.
So, I found a few ideas to spark creativity in how we present delicious and nutritious options, knowing that we can adjust the recipe to make it work for our needs and preferences. Gluten free options can be substituted for traditional flour and we can always opt for pure veggie fare. The following is simply shared to spur ideas so that you can make meals more inventive, appetizing and less traditional. I am a big advocate for adding more fun, so hopefully this will do just that!
